THISTLE FARMS
We are a sister community of the Thistle Farms National Network. The Bridges Reentry Magdalene House West program is modeled off of Thistle Farms’ residential program.
As a sister community, we adhere to the expectations of Thistle Farms and collaborate with the National Network:
Implement Thistle Farms principles and meet benchmarks set forth in the Survivor-Leader pathway
Commit to transparency through program assessment and outcome sharing
Contribute information and experience to sister organizations, acknowledging roles as mentor and mentee
Collaborate in the National Network through forums, conference calls, workshops, and conferences
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church
Bridges Reentry’s Prison and Outreach Ministries was founded by Deacon Gay Romack of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Litchfield Park, AZ.
In 2012, Bridges Reentry initially began with a ministry at the Perryville Women’s Prison. Now, more than 150 women participate in worship services every week.
The Bridges Reentry Prison Ministry and Prison Mentoring programs are in partnership with St. Peter’s, while Magdalene House West and the Post-Incarceration Mentor Program are independent.
